COLLECTIONS

This collection was the culmination of the four years of my college career. My senior collection focuses on hyper-femininity and the female form. As well as, incorporating Victorian, Romanticism, and Baroque styles, while making it modern. 

During our "Portfolio II" course we worked on creating a collection of any theme of our choosing, I decided to focus on more high-end couture beach wear that can also be worn as a day-to-day garment in the city. 

During the course "Surface Design" we created a mood board based on a decade I chose the 1920's we also made our own color palette, textiles, and designs. Later on, we worked on posters for the AATCC contest using all the components that we created from the decade's mood board. 

This collection is themed by tea parties, ballet, and whimsical gardens. I took inspiration mostly from the shapes of the dance costumes and historical tea party scenes.

For our "Textile Digital Design and Technologies" course, we learned about different types of digital print design and textile design programs. For our first project, we were tasked with creating a collection of four coordinating prints using Adobe Photoshop and NedGraphics. We also created our target market and renderings using texture mapping of what products our prints would be used for. 

During my Senior year I took an accessories course where we learned various techniques and styles, I chose to focus on jewelry making for my final project. As well as using my senior collection theme as inspiration to incorporate the designs into my runway looks for the final show.  

Application to represent Drexel University in the Supima Design Competition. We focused on Supima cotton fabrics, as well as fabric manipulation techniques.
