PROJECTS

Unbound Essence
The final project for an Advanced CAD Patternmaking course, combining Photoshop, CLO 3D, and Gerber to explore circular fashion design. The unisex collection, made from hemp materials, features calming neutral tones with pops of color to express sustainability and modern minimalism. Submitted to the AATCC 2025 Design Competition, it represents the intersection of digital innovation and eco-conscious design.

CAD Final
For my Advanced CAD final, I used CLO 3D and my own measurements to design and create a custom garment tailored to fit me perfectly. I crafted the piece to complement my senior collection, and proudly wore it in the 2023 Drexel Fashion Show, showcasing the connection between digital design and real-world craftsmanship.

FabScrap Re-Imagine
For this project, each student was given one of three recycled fabrics sourced from Fabscrap and challenged to design a circular fashion garment that embodied sustainability and innovation. Inspired by 1960s and 1970s Spanish fashion, my design utilized shirring techniques to add texture and dimension. Out of all submissions, five designs were selected for marketing the Senior Fashion Show, with mine chosen as one of the featured looks.

Watercolor Studies from About Time Met
In our fashion drawing class, we were tasked with re-sketching two iconic garments from the About Time Met exhibit using a medium of our choosing. I chose watercolor to reinterpret an Iris van Herpen Fall/Winter 2012-13 dress and a Charles James 1951 ball gown, capturing both the avant-garde fluidity of van Herpen’s futuristic construction and the opulent structural drama of James’s classic silhouette.
